Panasonic Electric Works is pleased to present its new addition to the High Reliability RD Coaxial Switch family – an 6GHz Single Pole Double Throw Coaxial Switch.
This new high sensitivity SPDT Coaxial switch (700mW, without indicator and single side stable) is available as a failsafe or latching type with actuator rated at 4.5, 12 or 24 Vdc or as latching type with TTL driver and nominal operating voltage of 5, 12 or 24 Vdc.
The characteristic impedance for all switches is 50 Ohms, the operating time is max. 15ms and the ambient temperature range is -55°C to +85°C.
With his excellent high frequency characteristics, insertion lost of 0.2dB max. up to 4 GHz and 0.3dB max. up to 6GHz and a isolation of 85dB up to 4 GHz and 70dB up to 6GHz, the new 6GHz RD-Type fits perfectly to wireless and mobile communication market as well as for digital broadcasting applications. Typical applications are Cellular phone base station, Amplifier switching or Broadcasting relay station.
